Fill the chickpeas, the sesame paste (tahini paste), the lemon juice, the garlic clove, olive oil, salt and paprika into a blender.

Blend the ingredients into a homogeneous mass.

If the consistency of the hummus should be too dense, you can add some of the chickpea juice from the can and mix again.

Serve the hummus in a small bowl. Optionally you can drizzle it with some olive oil and garnish with paprika powder.
