First, preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius / 400 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 6.

Crack the egg into a bowl. Make sure that the yolk does not mix with the egg whites.

Wash, halve and pit the avocado.

Fill the hole, where. the avocado pit was, gently with the egg. Season with salt and pepper.

Place baking paper on a baking sheet. Put the avocado and the bacon strips onto it.

Bake both for 10-15 minutes.

Cut the bacon strips into small pieces and garnish the avocado with them. Serve on a plate.
