Preheat the oven to 180 degrees / 350 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 4.

Cut the celery, the spring onion and the garlic into small pieces and add to a bowl with the spinach, light mayonnaise and cream.

Then sprinkle the grated mozzarella over it and season the whole with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and optionally nutmeg.

Mix well and fill into a small baking dish.

Bake the spinach dip for 20-25 minutes in the oven.

The dip is served hot and tastes best with fresh vegetable strips (like bell pepper and cucumber).
