Finely chop the Paprika, Mushrooms, Onions and Garlic into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the Onions and Garlic for 2 minutes, or until the onions become transparent.
Now raise the heat and add our meat to the pan. Breaking it up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon and cooking until browned.
Add Cayenne Pepper, Cumin, Chopped Paprika, Salt, Pepper and continue to fry the mixture. This step ensures that the spices release their aroma.
Once Fragrant add the Tomato Sauce, Water, and Mushrooms
Cover the pan with a lid and cook the Chili Con Carne for a minimum of 20 minutes. Stir it occasionally and wait until the sauce appears thick. For an even better result and more delicate meat, the Chili Con Carne can be cooked for up to an hour.
Shortly before serving add the Red Beans.
The Chili Con Carne is best served with white diet rice and a scoop of yogurt and some cheddar cheese. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
